A lucky escape

Three people managed to escape from a serious helicopter crash this week. The three adults were going to a funeral in the town of Bedford in the east of England. One of the men was an experienced plane pilot and they decided to travel to funeral by helicopter.

During the flight there was a problem with the engine so the pilot of the helicopter had to make an emergency landing in a field. As he tried to land on the ground, the helicopter skidded on some mud and it turned over onto its side. Fortunately, the pilot and his two passengers were able to walk away from the crash. They had some cuts and bruises but none of them were seriously injured.
