Severe weather in Britain

Britain has variable weather that changes from day to day and as a result, it’s very difficult to predict or forecast the weather. Different parts of the UK also have slightly different regional climates. Scotland and the north of England are usually colder than the south.

At the moment Britain is having a period of unusually cold weather. Snow has blocked roads in Scotland and last week a tornado struck homes in Pembrokeshire in Wales. There have also been gale force winds in some coastal areas.   The extreme weather is expected to continue into next week with more snow and the lowest temperatures of the winter so far. Weather reports are warning that driving may be difficult at times and people should prepare for freezing temperatures and icy conditions.
